Micros Uninstall Guide
Please carefully read all instructions to successfully complete the installation. Images have been provided to assist with completion, however some images can differ due to the different versions.
Critical directions are highlighted in red because they need to be followed correctly.
Step 1:
Open command prompt by pressing the Windows Key and typing or press the Windows Key and R then type cmd.
Step 2:
Type the following commands into the cmd prompt box.
- sc delete “integrationservice” then press Enter.
- sc delete “loyaltree updater service” then press Enter.
Step 3:
Press CTRL ALT DELETE or Right Click on the menu bar to open Task Manager.
Step 4:
In the Task Manager find the Integrationservice, right click and Stop the service.
Step 5:
In the Task Manager find the loyaltree updater service, right click and Stop the service.
Step 6:
Navigate to c:\Program Files (x86)\LoyalTree and delete the folder. If the folder cannot be deleted then repeat step 4 and 5 as the services are most likely not stopped.
Step 7:
Navigate to D:\Micros (D:)\MICROS\Res\CAL and select the folder associated with the version of your terminal. If you do not know, then you will need to follow Step 8 for each folder in the directory.
Step 8:
Navigate to D:\Micros (D:)\MICROS\Res\CAL\xxx\Files\CF\Micros\ETC, where xxx represents any of the possible folders from step.
Delete ONLY the following files from this directory.
There may be other files in this directory, do not delete any except the ones listed below.
- PMSx.isl (The x will be a number)
- LoyaltreeSettings.txt
- TranslatePrintLanguage.xml
- TranslateTo2DBARCODE_EpsonThermal_xxx.xml
- TranslateTo2DBARCODE_EpsonThermal_idn.xml
Step 9:
In Back Office Manager, open the POS Configurator, and navigate to Devices > Touchscreen Designer.
Step 10:
Use the dropdown selector to select the desired screen. (Typically Payments Screen) then click Next.
Step 11:
Click on the LoyalTree Redeem button and click pink minus sign (-) the to remove the button.
Step 12:
Open the Micros Control Panel and click Reload Database
Step 13:
Once Reload Database has been clicked the circles will turn yellow. Please wait at this point until the circles return to green check marks.
Step 14:
After the green check marks have returned, Click on Reboot All which will reboot the terminals applying the changes.
